Color Club - Burnt Out

This is 3 coats. These aren't even the best pictures of this polish. This was in the early evening on a sunny day. This polish truly shines on the shittiest, cloudiest, rainiest day.

Okay, I have to add these. I took these pics the other day. There is chipping, there is cuticle jank. These are not nice nails we are looking at, but this polish looked AMAZING on a terribly ugly day.

Note to self, nails look better squared than hastily rounded.

MAC - Bad Fairy

Long time no see! I have finally dejankified my cuticles and actually give a crap what is on my nails again. I was recently gifted a package brimming with beautiful things. This was one of the things. I'm sure you have seen a thousand picture already, but here are a thousand more.

Cult Nails - The Secret Collection

Man, Cult Nails is shutting down. That sucks. They have a bunch of stuff on for 60% off right now if you want to grab a few things before they are completely cleared out. It's too bad. They brought us so many really cool polishes. I wish I would have grabbed a bottle of Toxic Seaweed when it first came out.

Flash, 3 coats no topcoat.

Dazed, 2 coats no topcoat.

Lime Light, 2 coats no topcoat. I need to reswatch this. It looked fine on my hand but bullocks here obviously. Nice work, self.

Sparkly Vernis - Gilded Lemon Drops and Mint Frosting

Imagine my delight when I found out that the lovely lady over at the Sparkly Vernis blog had decided to put forth her own line of polish. Right off the bat she is doing it right with a fabulous website, great square bottles with a classy simplistic design and holos! I was lucky enough to win a bottle in a giveaway, and she was kind enough to send another along for review, along with an unnamed mini that I didn't have time to swatch today, but I shall in the future.

First up we have Gilded Lemon Drops, 2 coats with no topcoat.

Next, we have Mint Frosting, also 2 coats with no topcoat.

These dry quickly with a matte finish and I had no issues at all with application. The formula is such that you could quite possibly make them 1 coat wonders with a careful hand and a just-full-enough brush. Though not as strong, they maintain their blingyness indoors, but all of those pictures sucked.

They retail for $12.99 USD for the holos, while the other polishes retail for $9.99 USD, and shipping is free in the USA. You can find them for sale on her website.

I would like to thank the lovely Ms. Vernis for sending this to the ever so grateful moi.
